Opt In Form Must Be Returned by August 15!
Save the embarrassment of a declined card!
Beginning August 15, 2010, because of a new Federal Regulation, we will not be able to authorize and pay overdrafts for your everyday debit card transactions and ATM withdrawals unless you ask us to do so by “OPTING IN”.
At Cessna Employees Credit Union we understand that unforeseen expenses sometimes occur and you might not have enough money in your account to cover those unexpected costs. That is why we currently offer Overdraft Privilege and pay overdrafts up to your approved limit.
As of August 15th unless you ask us to do so by “OPTING IN” we will not be able to cover overdrafts caused by:
- Debit card transactions
- ATM withdrawals
The solution is simple; “OPT IN” today!!
By simply responding positively and returning the “OPT IN” notice, effective August 15th , 2010, you can easily protect your account and avoid being embarrassed or inconvenienced by having your debit card or ATM transactions declined. You will pay a fee of $20 each time we pay an overdraft, but you will not be caught in the predicament of having your transaction declined because of a lack of funds. We are notifying our members well in advance so that you have plenty of time to respond.
We look forward to hearing from you and want to help you with all of your financial needs. If you have questions about this or any other matter related to your account, please contact your local branch or call 316.517.6578.
Send in your “OPT IN” form today!
