- Review cleared checks
- Make CECU Loan Payments
- Retrieve and Download Account History
- Check your IRA and Certificate Accounts

What computer equipment and configuration will I need to have NetTeller access?
You will need the following:
1. A computer capable of Internet connectivity
2. Internet Access
3. Internet Service Provider (ISP)
4. Internet/Web browser (We recommend the latest version of Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer.) Your browser must support the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) of 128-bits, capable of, and configured to accept "cookies." For more information on "cookies", refer to the last question in the ACCESS QUESTIONS section below.
Is there a monthly fee for using NetTeller?
CECU offers NetTeller to members at no charge. In addition, your Internet Service Provider may charge a fee for your Internet access.
How do I sign up for NetTeller?
Fill out our NetTeller Application or Changes form. Click on the SUBMIT button and the information will be emailed to us. For your security please do not put a full account number on the form. If you prefer you may fill out the form, print it, and either bring it to a Credit Union office or mail it to Cessna Employees Credit Union at Four Cessna Blvd, Wichita KS 67215. You may also sign up at any of the Credit Union offices.
Do I have to download programs to make NetTeller work?
No. NetTeller has been designed to work with browsers. When enhancements to the programs are made, your next access should update automatically without the inconvenience of additional downloading. You may be required to download a more current version of a browser, but those steps are provided online with good on-screen instructions.
How do I access NetTeller?
Just click the "NetTeller" button towards the top our home page, then the "Start NetTeller" link. You may be required to enter your NetTeller ID and PIN.
Should I take special steps to ensure security of my personal information?
Since browsers cache (store) information that was just displayed, we recommend closing your browser after viewing or performing financial transactions, especially if someone else may use the same PC. It is also important to note that some browsers cache pages that are viewed during secured connections to the PC's hard drive. This can make it possible to view account information after you have closed the session. Your PIN can never be obtained from this, but anything you viewed, such as account balances, may be viewed later. Various browsers, browser versions, and browser platform implementations handle and configure this differently (this is a function of the Web Browser and will occur on any Internet site that you access with secured connections. It is not unique to NetTeller). We recommend that you clear disk and memory cache. For more information, please consult your browser's documentation or the browser's creators web site. We recommend you use caution when accessing secured sites like Internet banking over the Internet and recommend you avoid using public computers in places such as libraries and universities to access secured information. We discourage the usage of the "saved password" option on various browsers. Remember to logoff after using NetTeller, clear disk/memory cache, and close/exit your browser when leaving your computer.
GENERAL QUESTIONS
Is the information on NetTeller timely and accurate?
Yes. All information and transactions conducted during normal business hours are handled on a real time, online basis. During normal day-end processing the date is forwarded to the next business day and transactions done after that process will carry to the next business date.
How far can I review my account history?
Approximately 360 days.
Can I access my IRA accounts with NetTeller?
You can view your account information, but can not process transactions using NetTeller.
How do I transfer funds between my account?
To transfer funds follow the instructions below:
1. From the CECU home page access NetTeller.
2. Enter your NetTeller ID and PIN and then select "Login."
3. Next to the account you want to Transfer FROM click on the "Account Activity Options" and select "Transfer Funds from this Account" option from the drop down menu and select the "Go" button.
4. Select the account you would like to transfer "TO."
5. Key the amount to transfer, in dollars and cents (omitting leading zeros).
6. Review your entry prior to posting for accuracy. This is an online transaction and no edit function exists.
7. Select the frequency and then select "Submit."
After the transfer processes you will receive a confirmation number that you should keep until you balance your statement.
How do I add another account to my NetTeller Access?
Please fill out the Apply and Account Changes form completely, any missing information will delay your request. Print the form and sign it. You may either drop it off at any of the Credit Union offices or mail it to CECU at 4 Cessna Blvd, Wichita, Kansas 67215. As soon as your request has been processed, you will receive an e-mail indicating that we have made the changes to your online account that you recently requested. These changes are usually made within three business days.
Are there limits to the number of NetTeller transactions I can conduct in a month?
There are no limitations to transactions done through NetTeller. However, some products and services have limitations and terms. For example, Regulation D applies to the number of transactions you can perform on a savings account. For specific details please consult your individual product disclosures you previously received upon opening your account(s) with the credit union.
Will NetTeller automatically close my session if I forget to exit?
Yes. After 10 minutes of inactivity, NetTeller will automatically close out your NetTeller access.
In viewing my loan it shows it to be delinquent, but I have not missed a payment. Why?
Please contact the loan department at (316) 517-7149.
After I "exit" NetTeller I can hit the "Back" button to view previous pages that were viewed earlier in NetTeller. Why?
Some browsers will allow your personal pages that you have viewed with NetTeller to stay in your browser's cache. If you leave the browser running on a computer in your office, home, or public place, then other people can use the "Back" button to view your balances and other personal information. If you are concerned with privacy, after logging off you should clear the browser's disk and memory cache and exit the browser (see next question).
How do I clear the browser's disk and memory cache for NetTeller access only?
For Netscape Communicator 4.0+:
· Select "Preferences" from the "Edit" menu.
· In the Preferences dialog box, select "Advanced" and then "Cache."
· Click the "Clear Memory Cache" button and the "Clear Disk Cache" button.
For Internet Explorer 5.0+:
· There are currently no security caching issues reported for Internet Explorer 5.0 and higher.
May I copy and paste my access information (ID & PIN) into my NetTeller Log-in?
No. The codes must be keyed initially, but the NetTeller ID may be changed (see next question).
I have a hard time remembering my ID, how do I change it to something I can remember?
To change your ID from the original ID that was assigned when your online account was first setup please follow the instructions below: (Note: The PIN selected is a 4 digit numeric value).
1. Login to NetTeller with your Current ID and PIN.
2. Choose "Manangement" from the NetTeller drop down box and click GO.
3. Choose "Create/Change NetTeller Account Manager ID (Alias)."
4. Enter your old and new ID in the spaces provided then click "Submit New ID."
5. You will then be told if your new alias has been activated or already being used.
Please keep your original NetTeller ID in a safe place for future reference.
I would like to change my PIN, how do I do that?
To change your PIN please follow the instructions below:
1. Login to NetTeller with your current ID and PIN.
2. Choose "Management" from the home banking drop down box and click "Go."
3. Choose "Change PIN."
4. Enter your current PIN in the first place provided, your new PIN in the second space provided and verify your change by entering your new PIN in the third space provided, then click "Submit New PIN."
5. You will then be told that your new PIN has been activated.
When I print my account transaction history, I find it is too wide for the printed page. What can I do?
The width of the statement form slightly exceeds the default margin settings in Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer (which generally default to 0.75 inches each for the left and right margin). If you alter the left and right margin settings (from the FILE menu then select PAGE SETUP) to 0.25 inches this should allow the account history to fit to a single page.
ACCESS QUESTIONS
When I attempt to log-in using my NetTeller ID and PIN, it states that my account is currently locked. Why?
This occurs when an ID or PIN is entered incorrectly three consecutive times, which causes your account to be locked. If you have forgotten your NetTeller ID or PIN, e-mail us at cecu@cessna.textron.com so that we may unlock your account and reset your PIN. This would enable you to log on and change your PIN to one that is easier to remember.
Note: A CECU representative will never ask for your PIN.
I can not get past the page that says, "This site requires 128-bit encryption." How do I upgrade my browser?
On that same page there are links to upgrade both the Microsoft browser and the Netscape browser. Click on the word "here" in the line that corresponds to your browser and follow their instructions. If you are using a different browser, visit that browser home page to locate the download for 128-bit encryption package.
When I attempt to login to NetTeller the ID and PIN boxes are reset back to blank fields and I do not receive any error messages on the screen. What could be the problem?

Why does NetTeller use "cookies?"
NetTeller, developed by Jack Henry and Associates, uses "cookies" to keep track of a user's session. When a user logs into NetTeller, the website sends three "cookies" to his computer. The first two act as a laundry claim-check; they are merely sequentially assigned numbers. The third is a large random string that allows us to verify that someone isn't trying to impersonate a legitimate user by guessing the value of the first two "cookies." The "cookies" are only valid for one session; each time users logs in, they receive a new set of cookies. We use the "cookies" to ensure that the user has entered a valid NetTeller ID and PIN, and to ensure that the user's session hasn't timed-out.
The use of "cookies" also allows us to speed up NetTeller by temporarily storing some user information in our web server's memory. Accessing the user's information in memory is much faster than having to retrieve it from the host or from a database every time it is needed. When the user logs off or the session times out, the information held in memory is discarded.
It is possible to create a website like NetTeller without using cookies. However, the security aspects of such a site would be much more obvious to the user and, therefore, less secure. We feel that requiring cookies in NetTeller is a small price to pay for the added security and improved user experience!
