CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK'S CREDIT UNIONS FOR KIDS

The credit union philosophy of "people helping people" accurately reflects the role of Children's Miracle Network's Credit Unions for Kids fund raising program within today's credit union movement.
The Credit Unions for Kids program is endorsed by nearly all 50 state credit union leagues and is the charity of choice for America’s credit unions for one simple reason – 100% of the funds stay local. Credit unions from Alaska to California and from Florida to Maine team together to demonstrate the compassion and generosity found within credit unions and their members. This represents a unique opportunity for credit unions and their members to positively impact their own communities. Nearly 5,000 credit unions nation-wide have discovered that fund raising for their local Children's Miracle Network hospital is one of the best ways to exhibit the integral role credit unions play in America's communities.
Locally, CMN is under the guidance of the Via Christi Foundation. Since 1984, Via Christi’s CMN program has raised an estimated $17million – 100% of which has stayed in Kansas to help children in need. With the help of CMN, Via Christi Regional Medical Center assists 30,000 – 40,000 patients each year.
