New Members: Very Important! Be sure to send a copy of a Government Issued ID such as your Driver's License. If there is a Joint Owner on the account, we need a copy of their ID as well. Also, include a check or money order for $5.00. This will be deposited to your Share Savings Account and it represents your share ownership in the Credit Union. VISA DEBIT CARD
Tired of carrying your checkbook everywhere you go? Now you can leave it at home! The CECU Visa Debit Card allows access to your checking account at any merchant where you see the VISA logo. An accurate and detailed transaction record will appear on your monthly statement. Use it instead of checks wherever VISA cards are accepted. It's quick and convenient.
If you are a CECU member and would like to request a card, it is an easy process. Just
print our quick and easy Card Application, fill it out, and send it to us. You may send it by

OVERDRAFT PROTECTION
Never bounce a check again! An overdraft protection plan can access your regular Share Savings Account or an Instant Cash LOC loan. As long as you have funds available in your Savings or Line of Credit, you can rest assured that your account will be ‘covered’ when a check is presented for more than you have in your checking account. A $2.00 transfer fee will occur each time this option is used.
Overdraft Protection is set up automatically from your Share Savings account when you open your checking account. You can apply for an Instant Cash LOC Loan to use as Overdraft Protection also. You will be notified by mail of a Savings account transfer or loan advance. Overdraft Protection does not apply to ATM withdrawals.
